Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a nonpartisan unarmed peacekeeping force composed of trained civilians from around the world. In partnership with local groups, Nonviolent Peaceforce members apply proven nonviolent strategies to protect human rights, deter violence, and help create space for local peacemakers to carry out their work.

Nonviolent Peaceforce regional peace team training supports success of new Minnesota Peace Team.

The Network of Spiritual Progressives which is associated with NP Member Organization, Tikkun, has issued a “Global Marshall Plan” which lays out a national security strategy for the US based on generosity and care. The “funding of civilian unarmed peace teams like Nonviolent Peaceforce” is a prominent element of the plan. Read the entire plan.
